Brand Story
There was a Shiba Inu named SOR, who had been weak and sickly since birth. As seasons changed and he grew older, he fell ill more and more frequently. His bones became brittle, his skin would swell with redness, and the festering wounds kept him awake at night. Watching him painfully bite and scratch his own coat, our hearts felt as if they were being tightly gripped by an invisible hand.
We took him to countless veterinary hospitals and tried every prescription diet and medication available. Yet no doctor could solve the root of the problem. Some even gently suggested that we consider sparing him further suffering through euthanasia. At that moment, SOR looked at us with his tear‑moistened eyes, as if to say, "I still want to watch more sunrises with you."
We couldn't accept saying goodbye like that. Since modern medicine had its limits, we decided to return to the very source of all life—nature.
Thus, Sormès came into being. Within the world of nature, we set out to decode the secrets of life. Blending traditional Eastern herbal wisdom with modern nutritional science, we use gentle processes and unique formulas to accompany every pet—from their lively, adorable youth through every stage of healthy aging.
Like every pet parent, we deeply long to give our animals the purest, most natural guardianship—to become devoted "interpreters" of their needs and caring protectors.
When SOR started eating the natural nutritional supplements we had carefully formulated, change began quietly. The scratching and biting that had persisted for years gradually stopped. Then one morning, he came bounding toward us with a coat of fresh, new fur, the sunlight tracing a golden outline around him. We finally believed that natural nourishment could gently overcome the limitations of one's innate constitution.
Today, SOR has spent many more seasons peacefully by our side. Beside his food bowl always sits that bottle of Sormès supplement.
His story is the beginning of Sormès. This is not just the birth of a brand; it is a reflection of every pet parent who refuses to give up. When everyone else says "let it go," we still choose to light a lamp called "possibility" for the sake of that companionship.
Because we have always believed that the most moving thing is never a miracle—it is the companionship that chooses to persist through those seemingly hopeless nights.
